YOGA AT SANARA
A large and stunning pavilion overlooking the sea is a magical place to get your yoga on. The Hotel Sanara hosts a variety of classes. Swing by, pick up a class-pass and a schedule, you can also grab breakfast at their super healthy restaurant; Real Coconut. Such an elegant place, I’d love to stay there someday.
MAYAN RUINS
Make a trip to explore the 13th-century, walled Mayan archaeological site at Tulum National Park overlooking the sea. An easy taxi ride will get you there and about $4 will get you in. Don’t forget you hat and sunscreen, there’s little shade. Daily 8am - 5pm.
SHOPPING
There are loads (too many to list) of super cute boutiques all along the main beach road. You’ll find some beautiful and unique things, but you will not find bargains. Do take time out from sun and surf to amble around and do some shopping!
KAAHAL HOME
Make a trip to downtown Tulum for this charming artisanal shop. “At Kaahal Home Tulum one can bask in organic, essential, ancient and modern expressions of Mexican art forms.”
